Metallic copper, element symbol Cu, atomic weight 63.54, specific gravity 8.92, melting point 1083oC. Pure copper is light rose or light red, and after the appearance of copper oxide film is formed, the appearance is copper. Copper has many valuable physical and chemical properties, such as high thermal and electrical conductivity, strong chemical stability, high tensile strength, easy welding, corrosion resistance, plasticity, ductility. Pure copper can be drawn into very fine copper wires to make very thin copper foil. It can form alloys with zinc, tin, lead, manganese, cobalt, nickel, aluminum, iron and other metals.

The development of copper alloy exercise technology has gone through a long process, but so far the exercise of copper is still mainly based on fire exercise, and H65 brass wire | H62 brass capillary | H59 brass row | QSn6.5-0.1 tin bronze rod | imported tin bronze pipe | tin bronze plate, its output accounts for about 85% of the total international copper production. 1) Fire exercise is generally to first increase the raw ore containing a few percent or a few thousandths of copper through ore processing to 20-30%, as a copper concentrate, in a closed blast furnace, reverberation furnace, electric furnace or flash furnace for sulfonium smelting, the output of molten sulfonium (ice copper) is then sent to the converter for blowing into crude copper, and then in another reverberation furnace by oxidation refining and decontamination, or cast into an anode plate for electrolysis, to obtain a grade of up to 99.9% electrolytic copper. The process is simple and adaptable, the recovery rate of copper can reach 95%, H59 brass row price market, but because the sulfur in the ore is discharged as sulfur dioxide waste gas in the two stages of sulfonium making and blowing, it is not easy to recover and is easy to cause pollution.

In recent years, molten pool smelting such as the silver method and the Noranda method and the Mitsubishi method in Japan have gradually developed into continuous and automated fire training. 2) Modern wet exercise has sulfation roasting-leaching-electro-premising, leaching-extraction-electro-off-offset, bacterial leaching and other methods, which are suitable for low-grade complex ore, copper oxide ore, copper-containing waste ore heap leaching, tank leaching selection or on-site leaching.
